New Bus Terminal and Market Expansion Set to Boost Loralai’s Economic and Traffic Flow

Loralai: Commissioner Saadat Hasan of the Loralai Division recently toured the construction site of the new bus terminal, a project expected to enhance business activities and improve traffic management within the city. The visit, accompanied by key local officials, also included a review of the newly relocated vegetable market.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Government of Balochistan, during the visit to the bus terminal, officials reported that the project, costing approximately 11 crore rupees, includes 76 shops and additional facilities, with 26 shops, canteens, and washrooms already completed. Commissioner Hasan emphasized the importance of the municipal committee enhancing its resources to become financially self-sufficient, noting that further land allocation for the committee would benefit the public by supporting expanded services.

Following the bus terminal inspection, the delegation visited the New Vegetable Market, where Secretary Market Committee Abbas Khan briefed them on operational activities and upcoming expansions, including plans for new infrastructure on adjacent land and improvements to security measures. Commissioner Hasan acknowledged the critical role of landowners in regional development and committed to supporting them with necessary facilities and security improvements.
