New Balochistan Inspector General Discusses Security Concerns with Provincial Speaker

Quetta: The new Inspector General of Balochistan, Moazzam Jah Ansari, recently met with the Speaker of Balochistan Assembly, Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai, to deliberate on the security challenges and various issues facing the province. The meeting, held at the Assembly Secretariat, was an opportunity for both leaders to explore effective measures for maintaining law and order and ensuring the safety of the citizens.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the Speaker warmly welcomed IG Ansari and congratulated him on his new appointment. During their discussion, they reviewed the current security situation in Balochistan, including the recent incidents of terrorism. They also discussed the steps necessary to enhance law enforcement and the importance of cooperation between the police and the provincial government.

IG Ansari briefed the Speaker on the initiatives already undertaken by the police department to bolster security. He assured that his team is committed to working tirelessly to maintain peace and protect the populace. The Speaker, expressing his confidence in IG Ansari’s capabilities, emphasized the need for strong collaboration between various government agencies to tackle the challenges effectively.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Speaker Achakzai assured full support from the Assembly for legislative matters that will aid government efforts in improving security.
