Islamabad, A significant partnership between the National Endowment Scholarship for Talent (NEST) and MCB Islamic Bank was announced today, aimed at propelling Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) scholarships in Pakistan. The collaboration, formalized in a ceremony at the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, involves MCB Islamic Bank’s commitment to fund Nursing scholarships through annual charitable donations.

According to Press Information Department (PID), the agreement was marked by a Letter of Understanding signed by Mr. Waseem Ajmal Chaudhry, Secretary FE&PT and CEO of NEST, and Muhammad Ibrahim, General Manager of MCB Islamic Bank. The partnership’s goal is to enhance education in Nursing and contribute to poverty eradication through educational support. NEST, in return, assures complete transparency in fund allocation, providing detailed reports on beneficiary selection and fund utilization.

The initiative is set to empower Nursing professionals in Pakistan, fostering educational growth and socio-economic development. Both NEST and MCB Islamic Bank expressed their commitment to this noble cause, anticipating that the partnership will significantly enhance education and uplift deserving students pursuing Nursing degrees.
