Nepal Ambassador Bids Farewell to Pakistan Prime Minister, Emphasizing Bilateral Cooperation.


Islamabad: The outgoing Ambassador of Nepal to Pakistan, Amb. Tapas Adhikari, met with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s House for a farewell meeting. During the meeting, the Prime Minister highlighted the importance Pakistan places on its relations with Nepal. He recalled a recent interaction with Nepalese Prime Minister K. P. Sharma Oli at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, emphasizing the potential for expanded cooperation in trade and investment between the two countries.



According to Press Information Department, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commended Ambassador Adhikari for his contributions to strengthening the ties between Pakistan and Nepal. The Prime Minister acknowledged the Ambassador’s role in enhancing people-to-people contacts and cultural exchanges. Ambassador Adhikari expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s development under Prime Minister Sharif’s leadership and thanked him for the support provided during his tenure.



Both leaders agreed on the importance of regional cooperation to ensure peace and prosperity for the people of South Asia.
