NDMA Releases Monsoon Daily Situation Report No. 26

Islamabad: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued the 26th daily situation report for the monsoon season of 2024, detailing weather conditions and response activities from 25 July to 26 July across Pakistan.

According to National Disaster Management Authority, the report covers a 24-hour period ending at 1300 hours on 26 July. It has been circulated to various federal ministries and operational departments involved in disaster preparedness and response, including those focused on climate change, public health, and urban planning. The document serves as a critical tool for coordinating efforts and implementing necessary actions to mitigate the impact of the monsoon season.

The NDMA’s report includes detailed assessments of rainfall, identifies areas at risk of flooding, and evaluates the adequacy of current response measures.
