Srinagar: Tariq Hameed Karra, the Congress chief in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), announced that the National Conference-Congress (NC-Cong) Alliance is committed to reversing all decisions made by the BJP-led administration that have impacted the region negatively.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Karra articulated the alliance’s intent to review every decision made under the BJP’s tenure. He expressed this commitment while addressing reporters in Srinagar, highlighting the alliance’s recent electoral success as a significant victory for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, aimed at removing the BJP from power.
Karra emphasized the necessity of ending President’s rule in the territory to facilitate the formation of a government. He stated that the primary goals moving forward are to restore statehood to Jammu and Kashmir, safeguard local land and employment rights, and address other critical issues.
Furthermore, Karra outlined the alliance’s strategy to tackle unemployment and boost job creation with dignity for the youth. He stressed that the effectiveness of their efforts hinges on the restoration of statehood, aligning with NC Vice President Omar Abdullah’s call for practical and grounded strategies to achieve their objectives.
