NC-Cong Alliance Disturbs BJP’s Strategy in IIOJK, Claims Tariq Karra

Srinagar: Tariq Hameed Karra, President of the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), has stated that the alliance between the National Conference and the JKPCC is effectively challenging the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) strategies in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). This statement was made following his filing of nomination papers for the Central Shalteng constituency.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Karra highlighted the issue of numerous independent candidates entering the electoral fray, describing it as a deliberate strategy to weaken the political influence of Kashmiris since 2014. “They think to disempower Kashmiris, they need to fragment the votes, this is why we are seeing leaders coming up from every street and corner,” Karra asserted.

Karra emphasized the critical nature of the forthcoming Assembly elections, differentiating them from previous ones in terms of their importance and implications. “If people lack the judgment in electing the government this time, they will have to face the repercussions for the next 100 years,” he warned.
