Raipur (India), August 20, 2021 (PPI-OT):Two Indian soldiers were killed in a Naxal attack in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh, today. The Nexals attacked a convoy of 45th battalion of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) near their camp at Kademeta in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh.
In the attack, ITBP Assistant Commandant, Sudhakar Shinde, and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Gurmukh Singh received bullet injuries and later succumbed. According to Inspector General of Police (Bastar range) Sundarraj P, the Naxals also took away one AK-47 rifle, two bullet-proof jackets and one wireless set of the ITBP personnel.
