Ranchi, November 23, 2021 (PPI-OT):The Naxals have called for a three-day shutdown strike from today in protest against the arrest of Naxalites Prashant Bose and his wife Sheela Marandi.
In view of the strike, an alert has been issued in entire Jharkhand. The Naxalites have talked about keeping water, milk, medicine shops, hospitals, ambulances and fire departments free from the strike. Apart from Jharkhand, the shutdown has also been announced in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. This has been announced by Manas, spokesperson of the Frontier Regional Committee of Naxalites.
Indian security forces arrested Naxalite Prashant Bose and his wife, a prize money of Rs 1 crore. This has angered the Naxalites.
