Naxalites set 10 Govt vehicles ablaze in Jharkhand 

Latehar, May 16, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Naxalites, spearheading a movement for an independent state, set ablaze 10 government vehicles being used for the construction of roads and bridges in Indian state of Jharkhand.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the rebels known as Naxalites or Naxals (a group of communists supportive of Maoist political sentiment and ideology movement mostly belongs to Dalits and other lower-caste members) torched and set ablaze ten vehicles, including excavators and tankers of a construction company being used for the construction of roads and bridges in Baskarcha and Ptmadih areas of Jharkhand’s Latehar district.

“Maoists took the responsibility for the incident, issuing a leaflet,” Deputy Superintendent of police Rajesh Kujur said. “Police are conducting raids to nab the ultras,” Kujur said.
