Naval Chief Stresses Combat Readiness to Safeguard Pakistan’s Maritime Frontiers

Islamabad, Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf emphasized the importance of maintaining combat readiness to effectively counter any aggression against Pakistan. This directive was issued during the conclusion of the Command and Staff Conference of the Pakistan Navy in Islamabad.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Admiral Ashraf praised the initiatives taken towards capability development through emerging technologies and expressed confidence in the Pakistan Navy’s operational preparedness to meet maritime challenges and safeguard the nation’s maritime frontiers.

The conference focused on national security, geo-strategic affairs, combat readiness, and troop training. Discussions included an assessment of the evolving maritime situation in the region, particularly in light of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. The conference also deliberated on the deployment of Pakistan Navy ships for the protection of Pakistan’s merchant ships in the context of regional maritime dynamics. Progress on various projects and future plans of the Pakistan Navy were reviewed during the meeting.
