RIYADH, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf recently met with key figures in the Royal Saudi Armed Forces leadership during his official trip to Saudi Arabia.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussions with General Fayyadh bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Chief of the General Staff of Saudi Armed Forces, and Vice Admiral Fahd Bin Abdullah al-Ghofaily, Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, primarily revolved around bilateral naval cooperation and regional maritime security. Admiral Ashraf highlighted the Pakistan Navy’s efforts to maintain regional maritime peace, particularly through initiatives like the Regional Maritime Security Patrols and their involvement in the Combined Maritime Force. The Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces praised the Pakistan Navy’s collaborative approach to maritime security and stressed the importance of a robust bilateral defense partnership.
