Naval Chief Attends 28th Annual Parents’ Day at Cadet College Sanghar

Karachi: The 28th Annual Parents’ Day at Cadet College Sanghar was marked by the presence of Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of the Naval Staff, as the Chief Guest. The event featured a salute and Guard of Honour by cadets in a formal ceremony that highlighted the achievements of the institution and its students.

According to Pakistan Navy, Admiral Ashraf praised the college’s faculty and administration for their training facilities and the cadets’ success in board results. He acknowledged the financial support from the Sindh Government, which contributes to the college’s development. The efforts of HQ COMKAR in maintaining academic standards and character building were also commended.

The college’s principal, Commodore Zeeshan Ali, presented the Annual Report for 2024, showcasing cadet achievements in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities. Admiral Ashraf distributed prizes to award-winning cadets, with Ex-Cadet Faheem Ahmed and Ex-Cadet Sahib Khan receiving the Stick of Honour and Badge of Honour, respectively. Ex-Cadet Junaid Babar was honored with the Quaid-e-Azam Medal for Best Academic Performance, while Cadet Muhammad Aziz and Cadet Muhammad Ali were recognized as Best Sportsman and Best Debater, respectively.

Attendees enjoyed a variety of performances, including a parade, PT show, drill by the Tiger Squad, and tent pegging, applauding the cadets’ efforts. The Chief Guest toured a Science, Arts, and Cultural Exhibition organized by the cadets, appreciating their dedication.

The event was attended by senior civil and military officials, board members, and numerous parents of the cadets.
