Islamabad: During a command and staff conference of the Pakistan Navy held today in Islamabad, chaired by Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf, the readiness and operational preparations of the naval forces were affirmed. The meeting focused on the maritime situation in the North Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Aden, along with the security of Pakistan’s maritime trade routes.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the conference reviewed and lauded the recent acquisitions of modern weapons and technology aimed at enhancing the navy’s capabilities to address maritime security challenges. Admiral Ashraf directed the naval forces to implement immediate measures to mitigate potential flooding in coastal areas due to recent rains.
The Naval Chief was also briefed on the ongoing and future projects of the Pakistan Navy, and he expressed satisfaction with the operational readiness of the forces to defend the country’s maritime borders.
