According to Ministry of National Health Services, the campaign, which is being closely monitored and driven by the Prime Minister’s office, aims to fully eradicate the virus from the nation. Ayesha Raza Farooq, the Prime Minister’s Focal Person for Polio Eradication, highlighted the government’s commitment to this cause. “Under the Prime Minister’s leadership, we are executing a comprehensive strategy to achieve polio eradication,” Farooq stated. She further noted the planning of three to four additional high-quality vaccination campaigns in the upcoming months, emphasizing their critical role in the eradication efforts.

Farooq also praised the dedication of polio workers who are visiting homes to administer vaccines, urging parents to cooperate fully with these efforts.
