Islamabad: Today, Pakistan marked Youm-e-Ashur, the tenth day of Muharram, with profound solemnity, commemorating the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his followers at Karbala.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, across the nation, mourning processions carrying Tazia and Alam are drawing to their conclusion in both major cities and smaller localities. During these processions, Ulema and Zakireen addressed the attendees, emphasizing the enduring teachings and the significant historical aspects of the Karbala tragedy.
The government has implemented extensive security measures to ensure the processions proceed without any disturbances, reflecting the event’s deep religious and cultural significance to the community.
