Islamabad: The Pakistan National Youth Convention 2024 concluded on August 21, featuring key addresses from Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir. The convention focused on initiatives for youth empowerment, skill development, and the importance of critical thinking in driving Pakistan’s future.
According to Press Information Department, the Prime Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to nurturing the youth through comprehensive education, skills training, and innovation-driven programs. He encouraged the youth to leverage these opportunities to foster entrepreneurship and creativity, essential for the country’s progress.
General Munir, addressing the convention as the Guest of Honour, outlined the critical need for holistic youth development, which includes enhancing educational and vocational training to prepare them for modern challenges. He stressed the values of faith, unity, and discipline as cornerstones for youth development and urged young Pakistanis to aspire to impactful roles in national growth, highlighting the importance of character and competence.
