Karachi, October 09, 2021 (PPI-OT): National Resilience Day was observed by PDMA Sindh today at Marriott Hotel Karachi. This day is being observed on 8th of October every year in commemoration of Earthquake 2005 victims .Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh for Rehabilitation and Relief Department Haji Rasool Bux Chandio was Chief Guest at the gathering.
The Secretary to Government of Sindh, Rehabilitation Department Mr Akhtar Inayat Bhurgary, Director General PDMA Sindh Syed Salman Shah along with other officers of PDMA Sindh, Mr Ameer Haider Leghari, Director Pakistan Metrological Department and representatives of different UN agencies and NGOs were also present. In the end Dua/prayers was offered for martyrs.
