Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today expressed their deep condolences over the tragic loss of lives in a recent bus accident on the Makran Coastal Highway, which resulted in multiple fatalities among Zaireen returning from a pilgrimage.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the top officials have communicated their sympathy to the families of the deceased and have issued directives for prompt medical assistance and care for the injured. President Zardari extended prayers for the deceased to be granted high ranks in the hereafter and for a speedy recovery of those injured.
Additionally, Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also conveyed their sorrow and extended their condolences in separate messages. They, too, emphasized support for the injured and the bereaved families, highlighting the shared grief across the nation’s leadership over the incident near Lasbela.
