ISLAMABAD: National hero and Olympic javelin throw champion Arshad Nadeem visited the Islamabad Police Security Division, where he was warmly welcomed by SSP Security Division Muhammad Sarfraz Virk.
During his visit, Nadeem was briefed on various initiatives undertaken by Islamabad Police to enhance public convenience and promote citizen-friendly policing. These initiatives include the Police Response Unit, special desks for women and children, the Safe City Project, and efforts in community policing.
SSP Virk highlighted that Arshad Nadeem is a source of pride for Pakistan and serves as a role model for the younger generation. He emphasized the importance of recognizing sports heroes to promote positive messages within society. As a token of appreciation, a shield was presented to Nadeem on behalf of Islamabad Police.
