Srinagar, 15 Oct 2023: Ali Muhammad Sagar, the General Secretary of National Conference, has expressed strong criticism towards the present administration in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, claiming its inefficacy in multiple areas.
Sourced from Kashmir Media Service, the statement released by Sagar in Srinagar highlighted that the current authorities in the region seem to favour ruling through ordinances and diktats. He pointed out the glaring absence of rule of law, accountability, and democracy. Moreover, he emphasized that the undue pressure placed on journalists and employees has now become a disturbingly regular occurrence.
According to Sagar, the administration appears to be engrossed solely in maintaining appearances, neglecting the escalating challenges faced by the populace. He lamented the ongoing suffering of the community, which, he contends, is due to a lack of fundamental utility services.
