National Conference Leader Blasts BJP for Youth and Farmer Distress in Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu, Ajay Kumar Sadhotra of the National Conference has criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for policies he claims have deepened unemployment and economic woes in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

According to Kashmir Media Service, during a rally in Vijaypur, Jammu, Sadhotra castigated the BJP for its role in the rising unemployment rates affecting the region’s youth and agricultural sector. He accused the ruling party of not fulfilling its employment promises and hindering job creation, exacerbating the struggles of local communities.

Sadhotra pointed to the contradiction between national celebrations of entrepreneurship and the BJP’s alleged inactivity in fostering similar initiatives in IIOJK. He stressed the urgency of developing concrete measures to tackle job scarcity, calling for immediate action to fill open positions and create new employment prospects for residents.

The criticism underscores growing discontent among political figures in IIOJK regarding the central government’s handling of economic and social issues, particularly the pressing challenge of unemployment among the region’s younger population and farmers.
