National Conference Denounces BJP’s Communal Policies in Kashmir


Srinagar, The leadership of the National Conference has vocally criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) approach in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir, highlighting a divisive and communal agenda.



According to Kashmir Media Service, Farooq Abdullah, the party’s leader, spoke at a rally in Karnah against what he perceives as the BJP’s strategy to incite communal discord, particularly targeting the Muslim minority. He emphasized the importance of unity in combating these policies and holding the BJP responsible for neglecting key issues like unemployment and regional development.



Omar Abdullah, Vice President of the National Conference, also addressed voters during various election programs, urging the rejection of political alliances with the BJP and prioritizing the welfare of Jammu and Kashmir, reflecting on changes since August 5, 2019.
