Islamabad: National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq today inaugurated a calligraphic exhibition showcasing the names of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the Seerat Mahal Book Corner at the Parliament House Library. The event marks the celebration of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi (PBUH).
According to National Assembly of Pakistan, the exhibition displays 112 art models featuring calligraphy of the Holy Prophet’s names, crafted by renowned calligrapher Mr. Wasil Shahid. Speaker Sadiq highlighted the profound impact of the Prophet’s teachings on humanity, emphasizing brotherhood, peace, justice, and service.
The newly opened Seerat Mahal Corner houses 400 rare books about the life of the Prophet, aimed at enriching members, researchers, and visitors with valuable insights. The inauguration was attended by Members of Parliament, ambassadors from various countries, and a significant number of parliamentarians and ambassadors from Islamic nations. The Speaker expressed his gratitude to all attendees for their participation in commemorating this significant month.
