Islamabad, August 14, 2021 (PPI-OT):Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser and Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri congratulated the whole Nation on the eve of 74th ‘Independence Day’. They said that this day reminds us of the struggle and sacrifices made by our forefathers for this homeland. They said that now it’s our responsibility to take this mission forward and make this country a prosperous and progressive nation.
Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser urged the countrymen to pledge to work hard to lead country on the path of development, prosperity and progress. He also asked the countrymen to utilize all their energies for the betterment of Pakistan. He said that inculcating the spirit of democratic norms and pluralism are must for enhancing national integrity.
He also said that the whole nation successfully fought the battle of Corona Pandemic and hoped that nation collectively would continue to fight this pandemic. He said that on this day of independence we need to take cognizance of ever-changing climate issues and we all must take part actively in the plantation drive of the incumbent government.
Speaker Asad Qaiser said that Pakistan always stands with their Illegally Indian Occupied Jummu and Kashmir (IIOJK) brethren and would continue to support them in their struggle for self-determination. He said that Indian atrocities on innocent people of Kashmir is the test of conscience of the whole world. He said that Indian hegemonic designs cannot suppress Kashmiri struggle for self-determination and the day is not far when people of Kashmir will be free from Indian suppression.
The Speaker said that the incumbent government resolved to materialize the dreams of social welfare state of our father of nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He also remarked that public welfare and prosperity of the common people depends upon implementing the futuristic policies and government shall leave no stone unturned to make this country a prosperous nation.
On this occasion, Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri said that this day reminds us of huge sacrifices made by our forefathers for a separate homeland, in which Muslim could practice their religion easily without any restrictions. He said that Pakistan was the blessing of Allah, and it was the responsibility of every citizen to play their role in the progress and prosperity of the country
