National Assembly Secretariat Launches Facilitation Center for New Members

Islamabad, In a move designed to streamline the onboarding process for its new members, the National Assembly Secretariat in Islamabad has established a one-window facilitation center. This initiative aims to assist and facilitate the newly elected Honourable Members of the National Assembly of Pakistan, ensuring a smooth transition into their legislative roles.

According to National Assembly of Pakistan, the facilitation center is located in Committee Room No.2 of the Parliament House and will be operational from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm starting from the 22nd of February, 2024. The center is set up to offer a range of services critical for the new members, including registration, official photography for identification cards, and assistance with completing necessary documentation.

This strategic move is intended to alleviate any procedural challenges for the newly elected members by providing a centralized location for all essential onboarding processes. The facilitation center will remain functional until the inaugural session of the 16th National Assembly of Pakistan, ensuring that all new members are adequately prepared to commence their legislative duties.

The establishment of this facilitation center underscores the Secretariat’s commitment to fostering an efficient and supportive environment for the country’s legislators, thereby enhancing the overall functionality of the National Assembly.
