National Assembly Reviews Senate Recommendations on 2026-27 Budget


Islamabad: The National Assembly resumed its session at the Parliament House with Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq presiding, focusing on the Senate’s recommendations for the 2026-27 Federal Budget. Over fifty-three hours of discussion have already been dedicated to the budget, with further deliberations now centering on the insights provided by the Senate.



According to Radio Pakistan, the assembly’s meeting marks a critical phase in the budgetary process as members engage in debates concerning the financial allocations for the next fiscal year. The session underscores the legislative commitment to scrutinizing and refining the budget proposal to align with national priorities.
