Islamabad, The National Assembly of Pakistan has officially concluded its session on April 1st, 2024, as announced by the office of the Secretary-General.
According to National Assembly of Pakistan, the President exercised powers granted under Article 54 of the Constitution to prorogue the session. The notification, signed by Secretary-General Tahir Hussain and Special Secretary (Legis.) Muhammad Mushtaq, was released for immediate publication in the Gazette of Pakistan. The prorogation marks the end of the assembly’s current session, and copies of the Gazette notification have been dispatched to relevant governmental authorities and officers of the National Assembly Secretariat.
