Islamabad: In celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah extended warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah, underscoring the Prophet Muhammad’s teachings as foundational for peace, love, and unity. Both leaders emphasized the significance of the Prophet’s life and teachings as a model for achieving an equitable and compassionate society.
According to National Assembly of Pakistan announcement issued on 16 September 2024, Speaker Sadiq highlighted the Prophet Muhammad’s life as a paradigm of justice, compassion, and brotherhood, advocating for these principles to be the guiding force for societal development. He remarked on the occasion as a time to reaffirm the commitment to Islamic values of unity and brotherhood. Deputy Speaker Shah echoed these sentiments, calling for adherence to these teachings to foster national progress, peace, and prosperity.
