National Assembly Leaders Unite to Counter India’s Allegations

ISLAMABAD: Members of Pakistan’s National Assembly Advisory Committee have unanimously condemned what they describe as India’s misleading and false propaganda against Pakistan. In a meeting chaired by Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, the committee reviewed the agenda for the ongoing 16th session and decided it will continue until May 16, 2025.

The committee members expressed strong disapproval of the accusations made by India, emphasizing the necessity for a unified response to counter India’s narrative. They agreed on adopting a proactive diplomatic and media strategy to challenge the misinformation on international platforms.

A unanimous resolution will be introduced in the National Assembly to denounce India’s allegations and reaffirm Pakistan’s dedication to regional peace and security. The members pledged solidarity in defending Pakistan’s position and in exposing claims they believe are fabricated to tarnish the country’s image.

Representatives from all major political parties supported the proposal, highlighting the significance of national unity in addressing external challenges.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, several federal ministers, and members from various political factions, indicating broad-based political backing for this initiative.
