According to National Assembly of Pakistan, the tragic event prompted the Speaker and Deputy Speaker to convey their condolences to the families of the deceased workers. They highlighted the incident as a critical alert for the mining sector to implement and adhere to stringent safety measures to prevent similar calamities. Their messages included prayers for the deceased workers’ exaltation in the afterlife and for the resilience of their families. Additionally, they called for swift and comprehensive support for the injured victims, directing relevant authorities to ensure the provision of necessary aid.
