Nation Mourns as Captain Muhammad Osama Bin Arshad Shaheed Laid to Rest with Full Honors


Islamabad: Captain Muhammad Osama Bin Arshad Shaheed, who fell defending Pakistan in North Waziristan, was laid to rest with full military honors at Chaklala Garrison, Rawalpindi. The 24-year-old from Rawalpindi was commemorated in a solemn ceremony attended by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, COAS General Syed Asim Munir, and numerous military and civilian dignitaries.



According to Press Information Department, the Prime Minister lauded Captain Arshad’s ultimate sacrifice, asserting that such acts of valor fortify the nation’s resolve to eradicate terrorism. He emphasized that Pakistan stands firm against threats and that comprehensive strategies are in place to secure a peaceful and prosperous future. The ceremony reflected a profound national respect for the fallen hero, whose commitment to his country was honored in his hometown burial.
