Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have extended their commendations and condolences following a successful security operation in Bajaur, where Pakistan Army personnel neutralized five Khwarji terrorists while tragically losing three of their own.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Zardari expressed profound grief over the deaths of the soldiers, acknowledging the nation’s debt of gratitude towards them for their sacrifices. He also offered prayers for the families grieving their loss. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sharif praised the security forces for their effectiveness in the operation and specifically honored the bravery of Naik Inayat Khan, Lance Naik Umar Hayat, and Sepoy Waqar Khan, who were killed in the engagement with terrorists.
The Prime Minister further emphasized that the entire nation stands in solidarity with its forces in the ongoing battle against terrorism, underscoring the collective resolve to combat and eradicate such threats.
