Islamabad: Pakistan is abuzz with activity as the nation prepares to commemorate its Independence Day and the victory of Marka-e-Haq tomorrow. Structures across the country are adorned with national flags, festive decorations, and illuminating lights. Citizens have also displayed the national emblem on their cars and homes.
Vendors have erected stalls in marketplaces and along roadsides, offering national flags, buntings, headwear, and children’s attire in the national colors of green and white.
The nation’s success against India in Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos under Marka-e-Haq has amplified this year’s Independence Day festivities. Radio Pakistan has arranged special broadcasts to observe the occasion.
