Nation Commemorates 76th Death Anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam with Presidential and Prime Ministerial Tributes


Islamabad: On the 76th death anniversary of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the Father of the Nation, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif separately honored his memory, celebrating his visionary leadership that significantly shaped the modern state of Pakistan.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Zardari expressed deep admiration for Jinnah’s relentless dedication to the Muslim cause and his pivotal role in securing a separate homeland where Muslims could live with dignity and freely practice their cultural and religious rights. The President acknowledged the entire nation’s pride in Jinnah’s enduring struggle and his unwavering commitment to self-determination.



Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his tribute, highlighted Jinnah’s exceptional statesmanship and his adept leadership during the freedom movement, which led to the establishment of the world’s first Islamic ideological state. The Prime Minister praised Jinnah’s staunch support for democracy, social justice, and equality, principles that laid the groundwork for a nation where all citizens, despite diverse cultures, could aspire to prosper.



On this commemorative occasion, both leaders reiterated their commitment to furthering Quaid-e-Azam’s vision for Pakistan, emphasizing the need to tackle contemporary challenges with a determination that honors the legacy of such a significant historical figure.
