Naseerabad, In response to recent vulnerabilities in the local irrigation drainage system, substantial repair efforts have been successfully implemented to mend cracks that posed a threat to the community. Executive Engineer Irrigation Drainage Mudassar Zafar Khosa announced the completion of the crucial repairs, which were carried out under the guidance of Provincial Irrigation Minister Mir Mohammad Sadiq Imrani and Provincial Irrigation Secretary Hafiz Abdul Majid.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Khosa elaborated on the urgency and effectiveness of the response during a briefing about the completion of the repair work. He highlighted that the timely deployment of machinery and personnel was critical in addressing the damage at Ganda Khan Asta Mohammad, averting potential severe impacts on local residents’ lives and properties.
The initiative is part of a broader strategy to bolster defenses against natural calamities, particularly flooding, which poses a recurrent threat to the area. Khosa emphasized that the region is prepared to escalate measures, including mobilizing additional machinery if necessary, to ensure the safety and security of its inhabitants against future emergencies.
This proactive approach reflects the administration’s commitment to maintaining the integrity of critical infrastructure and safeguarding the community from the risks associated with natural disasters.
