Naseerabad Prepares for Eid Milad-un-Nabi Celebrations with Emphasis on Unity and Security

Naseerabad: In preparation for the 12th Rabi Awal, a significant day marking the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), local authorities and community leaders have outlined extensive plans to ensure the celebrations are conducted smoothly and securely. Deputy Commissioner Munir Ahmed Kakar emphasized the importance of unity among Muslims and the need for heightened security and community cooperation during the festivities.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Deputy Commissioner Kakar addressed a meeting with district officers, scholars, traders, and members of the peace committee, highlighting the significance of the day as a “day of happiness for Muslims” and a divine mercy. He urged all scholars to promote harmony and refrain from using divisive language during the sermons of 12 Rabi Al-Awwal.

The meeting also focused on the logistical arrangements for the upcoming Eid Milad-ul-Nabi celebrations. It was reported that law enforcement agencies have been instructed to intensify their efforts in addressing security concerns. The special branch is tasked with completing thorough checks of all routes and maintaining vigilance. Additionally, municipal staff are to expedite the cleaning of these routes, and arrangements for cold water distribution along the procession paths are to be finalized.

In terms of medical preparedness, an emergency protocol will be activated in all civil hospitals and medical centers. Medical personnel, including doctors and paramedics, will be present during the procession, accompanied by ambulances to ensure prompt medical services if needed.

The procession itself will commence from Shaheed Mir Muhammad Murad Abro Road, with police and volunteers stationed at all entry and exit points to manage the crowd and maintain order. Moreover, all volunteers will receive security cards, and a temporary traffic ban will be implemented on the national highway, affecting all vehicles from 9 am to 2 pm on the 12th of Rabi Awal to facilitate the safe passage of the procession.

These measures reflect the community’s dedication to both celebrating an important Islamic event and ensuring the safety and unity of all participants.
