Naseerabad Officials Strategize to Enhance Polio Eradication Efforts

Naseerabad: In a recent pivotal meeting chaired by the Deputy Commissioner Munir Ahmad Khan Kakar, Naseerabad’s top officials gathered to reevaluate and enhance strategies for the ongoing polio eradication campaign. The assembly, which included representatives from the World Health Organization and several local administrative and health officers, focused on addressing the challenges faced during past campaigns and devising robust methods to prevent future setbacks.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting saw the participation of Additional Deputy Commissioner Abdul Hameed Thahim, District Health Officer Dr. Muhammad Hasan Domki, and other key figures such as the Assistant Commissioners of Dera Murad Jamali and Chhatar. The discussions underscored the necessity of refining monitoring processes and improving the training of campaign teams to ensure the effectiveness of the polio eradication initiatives.

Deputy Commissioner Munir Ahmed Kakar emphasized the critical need for a renewed and thorough strategy, stating that the success of the campaign relies on solid groundwork and diligent execution of duties. He highlighted the gravity of the situation by reminding attendees that any negligence could jeopardize the health of all children in the region. Kakar assured that the district administration would provide unwavering support to overcome the polio threat permanently.

The meeting concluded with a collective agreement on the importance of meticulous planning and execution to safeguard the future of the children in Naseerabad and eradicate the menace of polio from the country.
