Naseerabad launches first digital census for agriculture and livestock

Naseerabad, In a pioneering initiative for the region, Naseerabad district has commenced its first digital census focusing on agriculture and livestock, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Batul Asadi. This digital approach aims to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of data collection in these crucial sectors.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting to kickstart the census was attended by various local officials including Irshad Ali Domki, Manthar Ali (the focal person for the digital census), and other key stakeholders. Deputy Commissioner Asadi emphasized the significance of teamwork and detailed planning in executing this digital census effectively. Teams will be meticulously formed and trained to ensure comprehensive data gathering across Naseerabad’s diverse agricultural and livestock landscapes.

The digital census is expected to provide substantial benefits by offering precise data that can aid the government in tailoring its support and development programs more effectively for farmers and livestock owners in the district.
