Naseerabad: In an ongoing effort to eradicate polio, Deputy Commissioner Munir Ahmed Kakar of Nasirabad closely monitored the latest vaccination campaign, taking steps to ensure no child is missed in the crucial public health drive. During his field visits, Kakar engaged directly with the vaccination teams, overseeing operational aspects and compliance on the ground.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Kakar inspected several aspects of the campaign, including the finger marking of vaccinated children and the implementation of door-to-door awareness activities, such as wall chalking. He issued directives to prioritize children who had not yet received polio vaccinations, stressing the importance of reaching every child.
The Deputy Commissioner also focused on households that refused vaccinations. He ordered that details of such parents be collected, signaling that the district administration would take decisive action against them. Kakar emphasized the role of community cooperation with vaccination teams to ensure a polio-free future for all children. He highlighted the urgency of these measures as part of a broader government strategy to eliminate the threat of polio, urging all communities to support the initiative.
