Naseerabad Authorities Meet with Traders to Discuss Urban Issues and Market Regulations

Naseerabad: Deputy Commissioner Munir Ahmed Khan Kakar chaired a crucial meeting today with the presidents and representatives of the Anjuman Tajran (Traders Union) to address several pressing issues facing the local business community and urban management. The discussions focused on commodity pricing, urban cleanliness, and infrastructure concerns affecting Naseerabad’s residents and business operators.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting deliberated extensively on the challenges related to the pricing of essential goods, notably the effect of reduced petrol production on local costs and the necessity of adhering to official price lists to prevent illegal profiteering. Deputy Commissioner Kakar emphasized the importance of cooperation between the business community and local authorities to ensure fair pricing and availability of basic necessities such as food, meat, vegetables, and fruits in the market.

Further, the Deputy Commissioner highlighted the collective responsibility for urban cleanliness, urging the business community to support the municipal committee’s efforts in maintaining cleanliness. He called for the proper disposal of waste and maintenance of hygiene in front of shops to prevent drainage issues. Additionally, on addressing the concerns raised by traders about water supply, Kakar ordered the Public Health Engineering Officers to inspect and, if necessary, replace damaged pipelines to ensure the provision of clean drinking water to the citizens.

The meeting ended with a resolution to enhance civic engagement and infrastructure maintenance from Mazdoor Chowk to Shah Petroleum to alleviate drainage problems, reinforcing the administration’s commitment to improving living conditions and business operations in Naseerabad.
