New Delhi, November 12, 2021 (PPI-OT):Despite several FIRs filed against him, the head priest of Dasna Temple in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, Narsinganand, remains free and continues to make provocative statements that include hate campaign against Islam and Muslims as well as tirade against Indian leaders Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru.
In the latest video that surfaced on social media, the controversial priest aligned with the Bharatiya Janata Party is seen spitting venom against world renowned Islamic seminary Madrassa Darul Uloom Deoband. He calls for closure of this as well as all the madrassas not only in India but throughout the world. “They should not exist anywhere in the world,” because, according to his claim, madrassas “teach killings of Hindus and trade of women”.
Narsinganand, who has recently been ordained with “mahamandaleshwar” of Juna Akhara, an important institution of Hindu seers in the country, held a press conference in Shahranpur and called Darul Uloom Deoband as “mother of all terrorist outfits” without citing any evidence.
In the press conference, he made derogatory and hateful remarks against Islam and its holy book. He posted the video of the conference on his Facebook which is being widely viewed. The video has garnered around 4 lakh views.
He said he is in Shaharanpur to oppose Jamiat Ulama Hind’s plan to open a Scouts and Guides training centre in Kenduki village of Deoband.
“I came to appeal to the Indian government that not only Kenduki centre but all Islamic madrassas including Darul Uloom Deoband should be shut down. There should be no single madrassa on the land of India,” said Narsinganand in his hateful rants against Muslims. He also demanded a ban on the Quran and Hadith in India.
He said that he is going to Kenduki village to urge locals not to give land for the Scouts and Guides centre.
