NAB to Hold Open Court in Quetta to Address Financial Irregularities

Quetta, The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) will conduct an open court session on April 25 to directly hear complaints regarding major financial irregularities in Balochistan. This initiative, aligned with the instructions from the Chairman of NAB, aims to enhance transparency and ensure rigorous oversight of financial activities within the province.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the open court will take place from 08:30 am to 04:30 pm at the NAB Complaints Office located in the Deputy Commissioner’s Office on Anscomb Road, Quetta. The Director General of NAB will personally attend to the complainants, underscoring the bureau’s commitment to addressing public grievances regarding corruption and mismanagement of financial resources.

The session mandates that all complaints must include the complainant’s name, parentage, a copy of their National Identity Card, full address, thumb mark or signature, and contact details. In a significant shift from previous practices, NAB has announced that it will not entertain anonymous or fictitious complaints. Only verified complaints that fall within NAB’s purview will be processed, and complainants will be required to submit a sworn statement on stamp paper before their grievances are officially registered.

The public is encouraged to submit complaints through various channels, including by post, in person at the designated NAB offices, or via email to ensure their concerns are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
