Quetta: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in Balochistan will hold an open court on the last Thursday of every month to address significant financial irregularities, as part of its efforts to enhance transparency and accountability.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the open court sessions, presided over by the Director General of NAB Balochistan, will allow residents to directly register their complaints about major financial irregularities. This initiative is in response to instructions from the Chairman of NAB, aiming to ensure accessibility and immediate attention to public grievances.
For a complaint to be considered, it must include the complainant’s National Identity Card copy, full address, thumb mark or signature, and contact information. NAB has emphasized that only verified complaints falling within its jurisdiction will be addressed, and a sworn statement on stamp paper will be required before any action is taken.
The public can submit complaints via various methods, including directly at the NAB office on Shahrah Gulistan Road, by email, or during the monthly open court sessions. Further contact details and information are available through the NAB Balochistan’s complaints office.
