Naat competition held at police line headquarters 

Islamabad, October 21, 2021 (PPI-OT):A Naat competition and special lecture was held on Wednesday at Police Line Headquarters in connection with Eid Milad-un-Nabi. A total of 12 policemen participated in Naat competition while Sahibzada Sajid Ur Reman was specially invited for lecture. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Qazi Jamil Ur Rehman, DIGs, AIGs, SSPs, SPs and other police officials and jawans attended the event. DG Safe City Muhammad Saleem welcomed all the guests and said that we are all very lucky over attending this event and would try to lead a life as told by our Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be upon Him).

Islamabad police chief Qazi Jamil Ur Rehman said only way to get success in life is to follow the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in letter and spirit. He said that our personal and collective lives should reflect the great teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)” He prayed to Almighty Allah to guide all to follow the teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Speaking on the occasion, Sahibzada Sajid Ur Rehman said that the life of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is a beacon of light for whole universe, by following which we can achieve success in this world and the hereafter. He said that Holy prophet (PBUH) is mercy for all mankind, who elevated the status of humanity by leading them out of the darkness of ignorance and bestowing them on the highest level.

He said the life of the Holy prophet is the role model for all mankind. He said that by following the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) we can find a solution to all our problems. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a source of blessing for the entire humanity and his teachings convey the message of love, tolerance and compassion, he added.

He said that we must pledge that we would act upon the real teachings of Islam, consider ourselves as followers of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and a matter of pride to perform our duties honestly and diligently. In the end, the IGP Islamabad Qazi Jamil Ur Rehman distributed commendation certificates and prizes among those getting distinction in the competition.
