Islamabad, June 26, 2023 (PPI-OT): 1st meeting of the Special Committee on Arms License held on 23rd June, 2023 at 02:00 p.m. in Constitution Room (Old Committee Room No. 5) Second Floor, Parliament House, and Islamabad under the Chairmanship of Honourable MNA Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah. The Committee discussed the agenda related to issuance of arms licenses “Detail of Arms License of Prohibited and Non-Prohibited Bore along with its criteria of issuance from April, 2022 till date”.

The Honourable Members of Special Committee on arms license showed serious concern over absence of representative from the M/o Interior in the meeting and thus, directed to attend the future meeting.

The Special committee on arms license adjourned the meeting till Monday 26th June, 2023 at 12:00 am to discuss the important agenda. The Committee issued the directions for holding in-camera proceedings of the Special Committee in future The meeting was attended by Honourable MNAs, Mr. Zahid Akram Durrani, Deputy Speaker/Member, Nawabzada Shahzain Bugti, Mr. Mohsin Dawar, Mr. Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry.
