Islamabad, May 25, 2023 (PPI-OT): The efforts of the former Prime Minister and the current Speaker of the Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf have yielded fruits and “Punjab University Potohar Campus Gujar Rawalpindi khan” was approved at the cost of four billion rupees in the meeting of Central Development Working Party (CDWP)under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Planning Mr. Ahsan Iqbal held on Tuesday 23rd May 2023.

NA Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf warmly felicitates people of Gujar Khan especially to youth of Gujar khan on this historic occasion. He also said that this campus would up skill youth of Gujar khan with quality higher education at their door step. He also added, “in this age of knowledge based economies, higher education is the only tool of progress and development.” He also reiterated that no stone will be left unturned until realizing the dream of establishment of Punjab University Potohar campus Gujar khan Rawalpindi.

It is pertinent to mention that this project has been the central focus of former Prime Minister and Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf since he was Prime Minister It is the biggest project in the history of Gujar khan and a gift to the Youth of not only of Gujar khan but also adjoining areas. It will provide higher education at the door step of people of Gujar Khan and would usher in new era of prospect and development for Gujar Khan Rawalpindi.
