Islamabad, Speaker of the National Assembly, Raja Pervez Ashraf, expressed strong condemnation of the alleged genocide and violence faced by the Palestinians in Gaza and its surrounding areas during his recent visit to the Palestinian Embassy in Islamabad. He emphasized the urgency for the global community to intervene and prevent such atrocities, drawing attention to the need for a resolution in line with the UN Security Council and OIC Resolutions.

According to a news release by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, During discussions with the Palestinian Ambassador to Pakistan, Ahmed Jawad Rabei, the Speaker reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause. He also highlighted the inconsistency in the response from those proclaiming to be defenders of human rights concerning Israeli actions. Raja Pervez Ashraf commended the resilience of the Palestinian people, especially children, against severe adversities.

In response, Ambassador Rabei expressed gratitude for the Speaker’s solidarity and highlighted the inspiration drawn from the sentiments of the Pakistani populace and its leadership by every Palestinian.
