NA Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq Praises Unanimous Decisions by the Council of Common Interests


Islamabad: Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, expressed his satisfaction over the recent unanimous decisions made at the Council of Common Interests (CCI) meeting, which he described as a significant step towards strengthening the federation.



Sardar Ayaz Sadiq commended Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and the Chief Ministers of all provinces for their commitment to resolving national matters, particularly issues related to irrigation, through mutual understanding and consensus. He emphasized that the political and national leadership of Pakistan has consistently prioritized national interests. The Speaker remarked that the successful CCI meeting demonstrated how dialogue and negotiation can lead to effective solutions.



Sardar Ayaz Sadiq also highlighted the unity displayed at the CCI platform, noting that the consensus-driven decisions have sent a clear message that Pakistan’s leadership is united on matters of national importance.



Addressing a separate incident in Pahalgam, the Speaker denounced the false allegations made by the Indian government, calling them baseless. He pointed out that despite Pakistan’s offer for cooperation, India has yet to respond, which he believes reflects a non-serious attitude. Issuing a warning, Sadiq stated that any act of aggression from India will be met with a resolute response, with the entire nation standing together in defense of the homeland.
