Islamabad: Speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, welcomed a delegation from Bangladesh’s Higher Education sector at the Parliament House, emphasizing the importance of enhancing academic cooperation and parliamentary ties between the two nations. The meeting underscored the commitment to fostering closer collaboration through parliamentary engagement, educational partnerships, and people-to-people contacts.
According to National Assembly of Pakistan, Speaker Sadiq highlighted the shared parliamentary history of Pakistan and Bangladesh, noting the significance of maintaining a forward-looking relationship based on mutual respect and dialogue. He reiterated Pakistan’s dedication to strengthening bilateral relations with Bangladesh through increased institutional exchanges and cooperation.
The Bangladeshi delegation expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s hospitality and democratic institutions, acknowledging the importance of academic and parliamentary linkages.
